one of our plans, not knowing how slow the road was going to be, was to have some serious lay on gthe beach and read time. We thought we might even try to swim--but everyone we told we were going to swim, looked at us askance. . . So, in preparation, we stopped at a "Pharmacy" in Gulala to buy sun tan lotion and maybe a beach towel.
They had drugs, but also guitars and ukuleles and music lessons. . .
and fur coats and videos for rent and a small lending library. Less pharmacy and more like "the General Store".
