Perfect Evening

Spent time Monday night with friends visiting from Cincinnati (and their two redonkulously cute sons). We started out the evening at Millennium Park. The boys played in the fountain and we chatted and chased after them with camera in hand.

But it was a perfect night. Not blazing hot, but not cold. And there were storms expected all day that never materialized. So, instead we had layer upon layer of big cumulus clouds and blue sky and the late day sun slanting through the skyline on Michigan Ave. Street musicians' drum beats bouncing off the side of the Art Institute and rolling out over the fountain. Kids shrieking and seagulls overhead.
